Simons Christiana

Christiana Simons was born 1947 in Vienna. 1966-71 she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. She works in painting and photography. Since 1996 she is member of Foto FLUSS and since 1997 of the art-photographers association AD OCULOS and participated in exhibitions in Vienna, Bolzano, Antwerpen, Innsbruck, Aix-en-Provence, Cernivtsi, Lviv, Kiev, Riga, Aleppo, Mistelbach, Wolkersdorf. Artist Statement My work is determined by the influence of painting on photography and the influence of photography on painting.
